Above is one of the offices, about 15 feet by 12 feet, overlooking the woods.  All offices are designed for therapists, with relaxing views, extra soundproofing, HIPAA-compliant internet, handicap accessibility, and MORE!

What is special about our office?

We specialize in supporting new solo practices.  We share our knowledge about how to maximize income and avoid the legal and insurance problems that solo practitioners face.  

Office rent is tailored to your needs and can include just the office or any of the following: HIPAA-compliant phone system accessible on your own cell, secretarial/receptionist services, billing services, forms for starting your own private practice, emergency answering service, office supplies, and more! 

Income potential is high. For example, a Ph.D. therapist billing 30 clients per week could make $261,000 per year. A master’s level therapist in the same scenario could make $204,000 – even after monthly expenses are taken out. 

Part-time offices are also available to share with others.  Most therapists have chosen to do a combination of in-office and telehealth.  We are flexible about finding the right fit for you.  We do not do fee-splitting and have a low fixed overhead.  Please call or email for details.  You can speak to any of the partners or the receptionist.


We are conveniently located across from Calvin College, near East Beltline and Burton Street.

We are all independent clinicians.


Linda Morton, LMSW; Lori Reineke, Ph.D.; and Mary Gilbert, Ph.D. created Sycamore just to employ an administrative assistant and rent an office.  We each have our own independent clinical practices and we rent space to independent clinical practices.  We are not a therapy group.


These practices are Ogland-Hand Consulting LLC, Galat Counseling Services LLC, Linda Morton LMSW LLC, Reineke Consulting LLC, Gilbert Psychological Services LLC, and Mindmap, PLLC .


These clinical practices rent space from Sycamore Mental Health Consultants, LLC and are not affiliated with them or each other and work independently from each other.  

We believe in creating a supportive environment while maximizing independence and minimizing costs.
